Honored artist of Tajikistan, famous singer Jamshed Ismoilov died suddenly. The death of the Tajik artist was reported by journalist Komiljon Kholov.
“Honored Artist of Tajikistan, unique voice and beloved by all singer Jamshed Ismoilov left us. I wish his family and friends patience,” the journalist wrote on his Facebook account.
The Creative Concert Association of Tajikistan clarified that the artist passed away on the morning of August 16.
“People’s Artist of Tajikistan, the former general director of the State Association of Creative and Concert Collectives Jamshed Ismoilov left our world an hour ago,” the structure said in a statement.
Ismoilov was 63 years old. The cause of death of the artist is currently being established.
Jamshed Ismoilov was born on August 30, 1956 in Kulyab. After graduating from high school, in 1973 he entered the State Institute of Arts named after Mirzo Tursunzade in Dushanbe.
Ismoilov also had a second education in the profession of a philologist, received at TPU.
He worked in the Kulyab Komsomol Party, and in the early years of Tajikistan’s independence he served as Deputy Minister of Culture.
One of the first songs that brought fame to Ismoilov was “A zeri chodarak”. The composition is still loved and recognizable among the residents of Tajikistan. The artist was married, he had four children in marriage.
